Additionally, Lauren studied vocal performance at the Jazz School, an all- Jazz centered music conservatory in Berkley, California. She is also a graduate of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia with her Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership and the Impacts of Technology. Lauren has shared the stage and performed with artists and musical groups such as Willie Nelson, Christian McBride, Sara Wasserman, KJLH Radio Free Gospel Choir, Tommy Castro, Narada Micheal Walden, Romanta Allen & Friends along with G from Silk, Luther Barnes, GLIDE memorial, Teddy Lee Hooker and recorded with numerous esteemed musicians in California and Virginia which deeply impacted her career. She has released albums under the artist names: Lauren Jordan (Blues Genre), LJSoulsinger (Neo-Soul) and L J Sol (Contemporary Jazzy Blues).
